FAIR EVENTS
Daily fair admission is $6 for adults (13-59), and $4 for children (6-12) and seniors (60 & up). Children 5 & under get into the fair for free everyday and also do not require a ticket for the grandstand shows!
The Fair is open from 11am to 11pm and the Carnival is open from noon until 11pm Wednesday through Saturday. On Sunday the Fair is open from 11am to 10pm and the Carnival runs from noon until 10pm.
Wednesday July 18th
Miss Lassen County Pageant 8:00pm
The Miss Lassen County Pageant kicks off fair week in conjunction with the 4-H Barbeque. Young contestants of Lassen County compete for the title of Miss Lassen County, Susanville Ambassadress, Princess, and Lassen County Ambassador.
Thursday July 19th
JDX Country Showdown 7:30pm
Local Talents show off their voices and musical skills at the Texaco Country Showdown. The contestants compete for their spot in the State, Regional, and National Finals and the chance to win up to $100,000.
Friday July 20th
Headliner TBA 8:00pm
Saturday July 21st
Drivers of modified, strictly stock, and mini cars compete in the Saturday Night Thunder races on the Diamond Mtn Speedway, where locals can get their taste of fast and furious speed!
Sunday July 22nd
Local sheet metal enthusiasts enter their vehicles into this hard-hitting competition where releasing anger on your opponents is encouraged! Drivers crash and ram into one another until there is only one car left running and it thus declared the winner. During intermission, the Rock Crawl competition takes place. Contestants show off their vehicle's crawling abilities and compete for the best time on an obstacle course in front of the grandstands.
